El Pati de Malpaís

El Pati is a collective of artists, cultural managers, researchers and architects. With Malpaís Art Gallery it organised concert cycles for emerging electronic, ambient and performance artists from Barcelona and L’Hospitalet, and gave legal and curatorial guidance to artists working in peripheral neighbourhoods, imagining liminal places such as Zona Franca as safe spaces rooted in care, collaboration and professionalisation. Funded by Injuve, the Ajuntament de Barcelona and the Generalitat de Catalunya.
