For the third edition of Bivac, the youth philosophy festival promoted by La Sullivan and funded by the CCCB, we chose a universal theme: failure.
Through a scenography and design that recreated the dynamics of an assembly, FLOP became a collective space to ask what happens after a breakdown, and whether failure can be reclaimed not as a romantic cliché, but as a starting point for resilience and celebration.
FLOP was thought of as an assembly point to imagine alternatives and resistances to the systemic failures that mark our generation. Failure was approached less as a limit, and more as a productive site for activism, resistance and the creation of new discourses and practices.
The project brought together a wide range of participants: Alaaddine Azzouzi Rahmouni, Anna Enguix, Anna Pacheco, Maria Barrier, Carmen Salas, Clara Sans, Don’t Hit a la Negrx, Irieix, Isa Tofu, Jordi Latorre, Júlia Nueno, Leo Espluga, L’Última Merda, Mariona Pagès, nara is neus, Mariona Moranta and Marta Ill-Raga (Sindicat de Llogateres). From different disciplines, they helped rethink failure as a space of possibility.
